IIT-JEE

NEET

The National Eligibility cum Entrance Test or NEET-UG is an entrance test, for students who wish to apply for medical course (MBBS), dental course (BDS) in government or private medical colleges in India. NEET-UG (Undergraduate), for MBBS and BDS courses, are led by the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE).
NEET-UG has replaced the All India Pre Medical Test (AIPMT) and all other individual medical entrance exams led by states or colleges themselves.

NDA

The National Defence Academy (NDA) is the Joint Services academy of the Indian Armed Forces, where cadets of the three services, the Army, the Navy and the Air Force train together before they go on to respective service academies for further pre-commissioning training. The NDA is located in Khadakwasla, Pune, Maharashtra. It is the first tri-service academy in the world.

 

CDSE

The “Combined Defence Services” (CDS) Examination is conducted twice a year by the Union Public Service Commission for recruitment into the Indian Military Academy, Officers Training Academy, Indian Naval Academy and Indian Air Force Academy. The Notification for the examination is usually released in the months of October and June, and the examinations are conducted in February and November respectively. Only unmarried graduates are eligible to sit for the exam. Successful candidates are admitted into the respective Academies after an interview conducted by the Services Selection Board (SSB).

PCS

Provincial Civil Service (IAST: Prāṃtīya Sivila Sevā), often abbreviated to as PCS, is the administrative civil service under Group A state service of the executive branch of the Government of Uttar Pradesh. It is also the feeder service for Indian Administrative Servicein the state.

PCS officers hold various posts at sub-divisional, district, divisional and state level from conducting revenue administration and maintenance of law and order. The Department of Appointment and Personnel of the Government of Uttar Pradesh is the cadre-controlling authority of the service. Along with the Provincial Police Service (PPS) and the Provincial Forest Service (PFS), the PCS is one of the three feeder services to its respective All India Services.

 

NTSE

KVPY

Kishore Vaigyanik Protsahan Yojana(English: Young Scientist Incentive Plan) (KVPY) is a scholarship program funded by the Department of Science and Technology of the Government of India, aimed at encouraging students to take up research careers in the areas of basic sciences. It offers scholarship and contingency grants up to the pre-Ph.D. level to selected students. Begun in 1999, it is administered by the Indian Institute of Science. The students who qualify KVPY Exam are eligible for the fellowship as well as admissions into institutes like IISC or IISER based on additional criteria.This exams has 3 Streams: SA (Class 11), SX (Class 12), and SB (First year BSc). For receiving a fellowship, both aptitude test (75%) and interview marks (25%) are considered.

 

IISER ENTRANCE

The Indian Institute of Science Education and Research (IISERs) are a group of premier science education and research institutes in India. These institutions have been declared by an Act of Parliament as Institutes of National Importance,[2] and are intended to be the leading institutes in the country in the field of basic sciences. The institutes were created by the Government of India, through the Ministry of Human Resource Development (MHRD), under The National Institutes of Technology (Amendment) Bill, 2010 (an amendment of the National Institutes of Technology Act, 2007), which was passed by the Rajya Sabha on 30 April 2012

 

CLAT

Common Law Admission Test (CLAT) is a centralised test for admission to 21 National Law Universities in India. 43 other education institutes and two public sector institutes are also eligible to use these scores. The test is conducted by the 21 participating law schools in rotation, in the order of their establishment, starting with National Law School of India University which conducted CLAT-2008, and up to National University of Advanced Legal Studies which conducted CLAT-2018.
